Job Posting Guidelines
1. AFP Employment Placement Fees ~ Website and E-Blast:
Job postings received will be placed on the AFP Greater AZ Chapter website within 24 hours of receipt (excluding weekends and holidays) for 30 days. E-Blasts with the employment opportunity are e-mailed within 24 hours of payment receipt and wording to all AFP members with a current e-mail address. The Job Posting time can be extended at the request of the organization for an additional full posting fee, including all services stated above. When posting is extended after 30 days, an additional email blast is sent to the membership.
AFP Chapter Members: $125 if the organization has an employee who is a member of Greater Arizona Chapter of AFP.
Non-Members: $175 for non-members.
For more than one position posted at the same time, the posting fee is discounted to:
AFP Chapter Members: $95 for each additional job posted (a $30 savings).
Non-Members: $150 for each additional job posted (a $25 savings).
PLEASE NOTE: Job Postings can also be placed on the AFP International Website under a separate agreement and payment at www.afpnet.org, in their Job Center.
2. AFP Luncheon Posting Opportunities:
Job openings will be displayed once at the next monthly AFP luncheon meeting. Interested individuals will be encouraged to copy down the contact information. Resumes of those seeking employment opportunities may also be posted on the job board at each monthly luncheon meeting.
3. Contact Information for Employment Postings:
Job listings must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions, please contact the AFP local chapter office at email@example.com or 480-947-3459.
4. General Guidelines:
Membership in AFP is NOT a requirement to list or view a job opening.
Job posting copy points to improve response rate: The preferred layout is paragraph format without bullet points. The following are key areas to highlight in the employment posting: Key Elements of the Job Description, Minimum Education and Experience Requirements, Salary Range, Benefits Available, Location and Hours of Job, Deadline for Applying (if any), Contact Information.
The Greater Arizona Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals reserves the right to refuse to post ads that in the sole judgment of the Chapter are outside of the internationally-adopted AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice. AFP Chapter members adhere to this Code, which is attached for your review. We hope you will take the time to review these principles and standards in your employment decisions.
