Professional Mentoring Program
The AFP Greater Arizona Chapter Professional Mentoring & Advanced Mentoring Program is a resource for new and experienced development professionals that enhances and broadens the professional’s knowledge, skills and success in the field of philanthropy. The goal of the program is to develop future leadership within the field of philanthropy.
This year long program is designed to guide professionals new to the fundraising field (1-5 years) through a structured development curriculum that enables them to master and move beyond the basics. Topics include the Case for Support, Annual Giving, Special Events, Capital Campaigns, Career Development and more. Hundreds of graduates have benefited from this valuable program offered by the AFP Greater Arizona Chapter over the past 22 years.
Also a year long, the Advanced Professional Mentoring Program is also available for fundraising professionals who have a general understanding of fundraising (3-5 years), but want to focus on a specific goal or to enhance their skills in one area of fundraising. Mentors are seasoned professionals with a CFRE and are paired with a mentee to guide, share and coach them throughout the program.
