Position Summary

Casa de los Niños is seeking an Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Raiser’s Edge (RE) gift entry and donor database The Donor Records Specialist serves as the point of contact for all Raiser’s Edge gift entry and donor database issues and questions. Assists with data analysis Stays current with the latest changes to RE and updates RE policies and procedures.

Your Mission

Accurately enter gifts into the Raiser’s Edge database. This includes pledges, checks, cash, online credit card gifts, in-kind gifts, matching gifts, and honor/memorial gifts.

Executes daily/monthly gift reconciliation with the Finance Office.

Generates and mails gift acknowledgment letter in a timely an accurate fashion

Analyzes gifts to determine correct coding based on campaigns, funds, appeals for each gift processed.

Maintain Raiser’s Edge system as needed

Set-up new constituent records

Maintain and update donor records

Preparing and provide quality assurance for mailing and donor lists for appeals, reports, and events.

Generate Reports as needed for Development Office and CEO

Interact with donors in a professional and friendly manner

Adhere to confidentiality of donor records.

Proficiency in donor database management– Raiser’s Edge experience preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to analyze problems and utilize internal or external resources to offer solutions

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to organize and prioritize work

Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Able to operate common office equipment and have word processing computer skills.

Must be able to provide own transportation to and from clients' homes and/or other relevant organizations/agencies.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent team work skills.

The ability to work both independently with little supervision.
