The Ten Star Award honors those chapters who have accomplished stategic objectives designed to increase professionalism within fundraising, and public awareness of the importance of philanthropy.

The Greater Arizona Chapter has been in existence since 1972 when it was known as the Fundraising Roundtable. It soon grew to become the Arizona Fund Raising Association and in 1978 became affiliated with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (then NSFRE).

	The Greater Arizona Chapter is one of 197 chapters throughout the world affiliated with the AFP International and this year, we celebrate the “official” 30th anniversary of the chapter. I believe our members still have the original sense of excitement and enthusiasm for our profession as our founders did 30 years ago when we became part of the NSFRE – AFP’s predecessor. More...
